The anime "Kingdom" is based on the hugely popular manga by Yasuhisa Hara, which has surpassed 120 million copies in total circulation. It is an epic historical romance set in China during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States period, depicting the activities of a young boy named Shin (CV: Masakazu Morita) who aims to become a Great General under the heavens, and the young king Ei Sei (CV: Jun Fukuyama), who would later become the First Emperor of Qin. The TV anime has been airing since the first series in 2012, and the fourth live-action film installment "Kingdom: Return of the Great General," released in 2024, recorded a box office revenue of 8 billion yen.

While the Gaku Ka Unit and Gyoku Hou Unit each make significant contributions, the Hi Shin Unit is given an important role by the commander-in-chief Ō Sen.
As a separate unit, Shin and his team secretly approach the enemy camp, targeting the Zhao general Ki Sui, in order to change the course of the battle!!
Meanwhile, at Ryō Yō, away from the Shukai Plains, the Yō Tan Wa army was overwhelming the opposing Zhao army.
