In this broadcast, titled "Mizkan Hot Pot Collaboration! Breaking away from their usual studio, the show was delivered from a Japanese-style house studio that perfectly suited hot pot dining.
When Hanae commented, "So today we're broadcasting from Kensho-san's new home. It has a very Japanese aesthetic," Ono playfully retorted with, "Well, I've always admired this kind of thing. I wanted to host everyone today... wait, this isn't my house!" drawing laughter from the start. Hanae shared that knowing he could eat hot pot during today's broadcast, he had barely eaten anything all day, expressing his enthusiasm for the project by saying, "I'm planning to get all of today's meals right here."
Hanae, who mentioned he's been making hot pot at home constantly lately, selected the "Hokkaido Scallop and Clam Shellfish Broth Hot Pot Soup" from among the five varieties in the "Shime Nabe" series. "I like light-style hot pots, and I'd never had shellfish broth hot pot before, so I thought I'd like to try it myself," he explained, preparing carefully selected ingredients including scallops, Chinese cabbage, mizuna greens, pork belly, and asparagus.
Meanwhile, Ono chose the "Kimchi Hot Pot Soup," saying, "I selected what I most want to eat myself because I want you to eat it." In front of Hanae, who was delighted saying "This is definitely going to be good!", Ono lined up generous portions of ingredients including pork belly, sausages, Chinese chives, potatoes, dumplings, and mochi, powerfully declaring, "I'm putting everything in!" He also selected recommended ingredients gathered from viewers, such as oysters, freeze-dried tofu, and cabbage rolls, and the two eagerly awaited the completion of their hot pots.
