"Tougen Anki" is based on a popular manga by Yura Urushibara serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" (Akita Shoten). It's a new generation dark hero oni tale depicting the conflict between those who carry oni blood and those who carry Momotaro's blood, based on the folktale "Momotaro" that all Japanese people know. The story begins when Shiki Ichinose (CV: Kazuki Ura), a boy living as a human, is suddenly attacked by a mysterious man belonging to the "Momotaro Agency."

Episode 22 "Futile Battle"
Synopsis:
On the rooftop of a high-rise building. Shiki tries to proclaim his innocence to Mikado, but Mikado won't listen. Realizing that everything is too late as Mikado launches attacks tinged with anger, Shiki resolves to fight and responds with Blood Corrosion Release.
