The anime "One Punch Man" is based on the hugely popular manga with over 35 million copies in circulation, created by original author ONE and manga artist Yusuke Murata. It depicts the daily life of the laid-back yet strongest hero Saitama (CV: Makoto Furukawa), who defeats any enemy with "one punch," and the exploits of heroes fighting monsters. The TV anime's first season aired in 2015, and the second season in 2019.
