Anime "World Trigger" REBOOT Project Teaser Movie Released!

The full details of the anime "World Trigger" REBOOT project were revealed on December 20th at the "Jump Super Stage RIGHT" stage event for the series. Additionally, the REBOOT project teaser movie has been released.

This work is an anime based on the manga of the same name by Daisuke Ashihara, currently serialized in "Jump Square" (Shueisha). It depicts the elites of the Border Defense Agency "Border" as they confront the "Neighbors" who possess unknown powers.

This project, which was announced on December 4th, will animate from the first chapter of the original comic through the "Border Enlistment Arc," "Large-Scale Neighbor Invasion Arc," and "B-Rank Wars Beginning Arc" as a "completely new production." Production will continue with Toei Animation, the same studio behind the 2nd and 3rd seasons, and will be developed as a more powerful "World Trigger 1st Season."

The teaser movie for the REBOOT project was also premiered at the stage event. The video is currently available on YouTube as well.

Additionally, it has been decided that the "World Trigger Festival 2026" will be held on April 26th, 2026. This event will be the fourth of its kind and the first fan festival in two years. The venue will be Kanadevia Hall (formerly TOKYO DOME CITY HALL). Details such as performers and ticket information are scheduled to be released in January 2026.
