The latest volume 15 of the manga 'Frieren: Beyond Journey's End' was released by Shogakukan on December 18. In conjunction with this release, a novelty fair is being held at participating bookstores nationwide.

'Frieren: Beyond Journey's End' is an epilogue fantasy work serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday," created by Kanehito Yamada (original story) and Tsukasa Abe (artwork). The TV anime Season 1, which aired in 2023, became a major topic of conversation primarily on social media, and TV anime Season 2 is scheduled to begin broadcasting in January 2026.

At the fair, customers who purchase one eligible comic or related book will receive one "Magic Character Card with Voice 2" (8 types total). By scanning the card with a smartphone or similar device, users can view AR of characters appearing in TV anime Season 2, which begins airing in January 2026, while listening to original recorded voices. The lineup includes Frieren, Himmel, Fern, Stark, as well as Wirbel and the newly introduced Southern Hero, totaling 8 types. Among them, specially recorded dialogue voices featuring pairs of Frieren and Himmel, and Fern and Stark are also available.

Additionally, the latest volume 15 was released in both a regular edition and a special edition with a bonus short novel. The special edition includes "The Priest's Deal," a 34-page novel written by Mei Hachimoku and supervised by Kanehito Yamada, depicting the journey of the priest Sein. Furthermore, on the same day, six related works were also released, including 'Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Coloring BOOK' and the second prequel novel 'Novel Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Prelude 2.'
