Anime "Dr. STONE" Final Chapter Broadcasting Confirmed for April 2026! Teaser PV Featuring New Character SAI Unveiled

It has been announced that the third cour of the final season of the TV anime "Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE" will be broadcast from April 2026. Additionally, a teaser PV for the third cour featuring the new character SAI has been unveiled.

"Dr. STONE" is an anime series based on the manga with story by Riichiro Inagaki and art by Boichi. The story depicts science enthusiast Senku Ishigami's challenge to rebuild civilization in a world set several thousand years after all of humanity was petrified by a mysterious phenomenon. The original manga was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 2017 to 2022, and has surpassed 19 million copies in cumulative circulation.

The anime's first season aired in 2019, and the series has continued to expand with a second season, a television special, and the third season "Dr. STONE NEW WORLD." The final season, the fourth season "Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE," is being broadcast in a split three-cour format, with the third cour serving as the final chapter of the story.

The released teaser PV depicts Senku and Xeno joining forces and initiating a lunar landing plan to confront the Whyman in order to stake the revival of all humanity. Furthermore, it has been revealed that SAI, referred to as "the man with the strongest mathematical ability in humanity," will appear as an essential key person for the spacecraft.
