[Story Synopsis]
America in 1890. The "Steel Ball Run," humanity's first horse-riding transcontinental race across North America with a total distance of approximately 4,000 miles and total prize money of 50 million dollars, was about to be held. Johnny Joestar, once called a genius jockey but now paraplegic and living in despair. He finds hope in a mysterious phenomenon caused by Gyro Zeppeli, an enigmatic outlaw plotting to win this race, and decides to participate in the "Steel Ball Run." The two form a cooperative relationship with their respective agendas in mind and step forward into a grueling adventure ――.
