Anime "The Elusive Samurai" Season 2 to Begin Airing in July 2026! Teaser Visual Unveiled, Season 1 Rebroadcast Also Confirmed Starting in April

It has been decided that Season 2 of the anime "The Elusive Samurai" will begin airing in July 2026. Additionally, a teaser visual depicting the new character "Mima," who will appear starting in Season 2, has been released.

This work is an anime adaptation based on the manga currently serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) by Yusei Matsui, who created "Neuro - Supernatural Detective" and "Assassination Classroom." The TV anime Season 1, which aired in July 2024, garnered significant attention for its overwhelming visual beauty produced by animation studio CloverWorks and its direction that expressed the unique worldview.

At "Jump Festa 2026" held on December 21st, the highly anticipated Season 2 information was unveiled. It was announced that the series will air starting in July 2026 in Fuji TV's "Noitamina" programming block. Furthermore, a rebroadcast of Season 1 will also be carried out in the same block starting in April of the same year.
