Hiroshi Takahashi's New Work 'Dustland' Announced! A New Story of Boys Set in Tōaru City, Continuing the Legacy of 'Crows' and 'WORST'

The title of Hiroshi Takahashi's new manga series, set to begin serialization in the New Year Issue No. 3 of 'Young Champion' (Akita Shoten) releasing on January 13, 2026, has been decided as 'Dustland'. Additionally, illustrations of the main characters have been released.

'Dustland' is positioned as the legitimate sequel to the popular series 'Crows' and 'WORST', which have exceeded 90 million copies in cumulative circulation. The released title logo features the text "CROWS×WORST", with a design that hints at the return of "Tōaru City", the setting of the series.

Furthermore, visuals of two boys living in Tōaru City who will be the main characters, "Hibari" and "Sanzo", have also been unveiled. The story will unfold from the encounter between these two.

Starting on the same day as the serialization begins, distribution will also start on the web manga sites "Yan-chan Web" and "Champion Cross". To commemorate the release of the title and character illustrations, "Champion Cross" will conduct a free reading campaign of all chapters of 'Crows' (equivalent to all 26 volumes of the tankobon). The period is limited to 96 hours, from 0:00 on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, to 23:59 on Friday, December 26.
