The anime "One Punch Man" is based on the extremely popular manga by original creator ONE and manga artist Yusuke Murata, which has surpassed 35 million copies in cumulative circulation. It depicts the daily life of Saitama (CV: Makoto Furukawa), the strongest hero with an indifferent demeanor who defeats any enemy with "one punch," as well as the activities of heroes fighting monsters. The TV anime's first season aired in 2015, and the second season in 2019.
