The anime "Kingdom" is based on the hugely popular manga by Yasuhisa Hara, which has surpassed 120 million copies in total circulation. It's an epic historical drama set in China during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States period, depicting the exploits of Shin (CV: Masakazu Morita), a young boy who aims to become a Great General of the Heavens, and Ei Sei (CV: Jun Fukuyama), the young king who would later become the First Emperor. The TV anime's first series began airing in 2012, and the fourth live-action film "Kingdom: Daishōgun no Kikan" released in 2024 recorded box office revenue of 8 billion yen.

【Synopsis】
The Ma Kou army's morale returns thanks to the efforts of Shin and the Gaku Ka Unit. Mō Ten seizes this momentum and makes his next move to push back the front lines. As dawn breaks and the Ma Kou army attempts to regroup, on the opposite side of the battlefield, the Gyoku Hō Unit fights against the Zhao army together with the A Kō army. During this, the Chō Ga Ryū army, which had been waiting for an opportunity, launches an attack to take down Ō Sen.
