Daisuke Namikawa & Taku Yashiro Fall Head Over Heels for Their AI-Created "Ideal Kohai"? Character Development Project on 'Say You To Yo Asobi'

On ABEMA, 'Say You To Yo Asobi Wednesday' #26 was broadcast on Wednesday, December 3rd at 10 PM.

Following the previous episode (#25), this broadcast featured a tie-up project with "CookieChat," an app that allows users to enjoy friendship and romance through conversations with various AI-powered characters. Daisuke Namikawa and Taku Yashiro played around with this cutting-edge AI chat app. In episode #26, titled "A Newcomer is Born! Let's Create Namikawa and Yashiro's 'Ideal Kohai'!", the two used the app to create their "ideal voice actor kohai."

First, the two decided on the appearance, specifying three elements: "muscular build, rich boy hairstyle, and stylish beard." An AI-generated handsome man then appeared on the screen, and the two praised him enthusiastically, saying "Super cool!" Namikawa drew laughs by asking about this character, "What should we do? Should we go with Tsuda-Ken (Kenjiro Tsuda)? Don't they look similar?" Various suggestions such as "Catherine" and "Ike" were proposed afterward, but ultimately the name "Takusuke," which Namikawa came up with while imagining Yashiro, was adopted. Furthermore, Takusuke was set to be "good at comebacks," with characteristics including "voice actor, 20 years old, can't lie, spends money freely, enjoys kendama as a hobby, from Iwate Prefecture, loves udon, gyaru but speaks politely" — settings that somewhat evoked Yashiro, from his birthplace to his favorite foods.

Afterward, Namikawa and Yashiro enjoyed conversing with Takusuke. With "CookieChat," users can set the length of messages received from their conversation partner to their preference, whether short, long, or novel-style. When a message from Takusuke immediately arrived asking "What are we eating today?", the two consulted and sent "All of a sudden?" to test him. Takusuke then replied with a playfully charming response: "Ehehe. I always look forward to eating lunch with you, senpai."

This made Namikawa and Yashiro involuntarily comment "So cute..." but they boldly replied "Shouldn't it be dinner?!" However, Takusuke sent back an adorably sweet response: "Eh, of course I'd want to be with you at night too, senpai!" and the two were captivated by the charm of Takusuke, the character they had created themselves.

'Say You To Yo Asobi Wednesday' is introducing the appeal of "CookieChat" over three weeks, including this broadcast.
