The anime "Let This Grieving Soul Retire!" is based on the popular light novel series by Tsukikage with illustrations by Chyko, which has surpassed 2.4 million copies in circulation. It is a "ultimate misunderstanding" comedy-fantasy centered around the protagonist, Krai Andrey (CV: Kensho Ono), who is hailed as the leader of the strongest party, 《Strange Grief》. Following the first cour in 2024, the second cour premiered in October 2025 and has just reached its highly acclaimed finale.
