The anime "Let This Grieving Soul Retire!" is based on a popular light novel series with over 2.4 million copies in circulation, written by Tsukikage and illustrated by Chyko. It's "the ultimate misunderstanding comedy fantasy" centered around the protagonist Krai Andrey, who has been elevated to leader of the strongest party "Strange Grief." The TV anime's first season aired in 2024, and the second season, which started in October 2025, has just reached its final episode to great acclaim.
