The anime "Let This Grieving Soul Retire!" is based on the popular light novel series by original author Tsukikage and illustrator Chyko, which has surpassed 2.4 million copies in circulation. It's "the strongest misunderstanding comedy fantasy" revolving around the protagonist Krai Andrey, who has been elevated to leader of the strongest party "Strange Grief." The TV anime's first cour aired in 2024, and the second cour, which started in October 2025, has just reached its final episode to great acclaim.
