"The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity" - Kaoruko's Adorable Nom-Nom Kimono Look Is Nothing But Cuteness! "She's My Eternal Favorite"

The official X account of the popular comic "The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity" was updated on January 1, 2026, and the heroine's illustration released along with New Year's greetings has been drawing attention as "too cute."

"The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity" is a manga serialized on "Magazine Pocket," the official app of Weekly Shonen Magazine. It is a school story that colors a vivid youth, woven by Rintarō Tsumugi, an innocent boy attending an all-boys school full of idiots, and Kaoruko Waguri, a straightforward girl attending a prestigious all-girls school. The TV anime version, which began airing in July 2025, garnered attention for its delicate animation produced by CloverWorks.

The released image is an illustration by the author, Saka Mikami. It depicts the heroine Kaoruko Waguri dressed in a vibrant red kimono, eating ozoni (New Year's mochi soup) in a bowl. The illustration is an impressive piece showing Kaoruko's expression as she happily munches on the mochi she's lifted with chopsticks to her mouth.

On the right side of the illustration, "Happy New Year" is written in powerful brush calligraphy, and in the upper left, a handwritten message saying "Thank you for your continued support this year!" and "2026.1.1" is included along with Mikamimi's signature.
