Non-credit opening video and non-credit ending video from the new 2026 winter anime "You Can't Be In a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends!" have been released.

"You Can't Be In a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends!" is a "hottest childhood friend romantic comedy" by Shinya Misu, currently serialized to great acclaim in "Magazine Pocket," depicting a sweet, frustrating, and emotionally guarded romance with a childhood friend. Directed by Satoshi Kuwabara, with series composition by Mitsutaka Hirota, screenplay by Mitsutaka Hirota and Mayumi Morita, character design and chief animation direction by Reina Iwasaki, and animation production by Tezuka Productions, the romantic relationships woven by childhood friends are portrayed in a comical yet delicate manner.

Opening Theme・Ending Theme

The opening theme "Airabiyu▽" is performed by HoneyWorks meets Shio Minamo, Akari Hiodoshi, Runa Tsukimi, and Haru Hinata (CV: Rin Kusumi, Yu Serizawa, Sae Hiratsuka, Yuki Yamamoto), while the ending theme "Amanojaku" is performed by singer-songwriter Hikari Codama.
