[Photos/Images] This is Just Unfair... "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" Episode 11, The Night When the Original Gundam Appeared Along with "Char's Counterattack Song" 1st

They really went this far... The ending of episode 11 of the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" left fans who know the series' history utterly speechless.

Around Lalah Sune, who sleeps inside the Solomon's Rose, Char Aznable (CV: Yūki Shin) and Shūji Itō (CV: Shimba Tsuchiya) confronted each other. Shūji declared, "I came from the other side. To end this world," revealing a part of his true identity and purpose. It was right after this moment when the tension reached its ultimate peak.

What emerged from the light was a silhouette that anyone could see was unmistakably the "original Gundam"—the RX-78-2. While "GQuuuuuuX" has accumulated numerous homages up to this point, this moment couldn't be dismissed with words like "reference" or "fan service"—it felt as if "the official history itself" had stepped into the center of the story.

What drove the point home even further was the ending presentation. Instead of the regular ending theme "Mou Dou Nattemo Iiя" (sung by Hoshimachi Suisei), what began to play was TM NETWORK's masterpiece "BEYOND THE TIME (Mebius no Uchuu wo Koete)." The iconic song from the 1988 film "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack" resonated in this latest Reiwa-era production.
