Who Knew It Was the Type That Comes Out From Inside... "Gundam GQuuuuuuX" Episode 7, Kikeroga Transformation Causes a Stir

Honestly, many people were probably caught completely off guard... The "transformation" of the Kikeroga piloted by Challia Bull (CV: Shinji Kawada) depicted in episode 7 of the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" easily exceeded viewers' imaginations.

The Kikeroga, which had appeared as a massive Mobile Armor, suddenly deployed its structure in the midst of battle. From its center, a slender Mobile Suit emerged as if being ejected. Rather than what you'd typically call a "transformation," it was a bizarre presentation that made you want to say "it came out from inside."

This Kikeroga's appearance is reminiscent of the Braw Bro that Challia Bull piloted in the First Gundam, but its name is known as a "phantom designation" that only appeared in Director Yoshiyuki Tomino's early planning memos, commonly called "Tomino Memo." The name that never made it into the First Gundam was visualized in this form after nearly half a century—surely an unexpected surprise for many fans.

Moreover, this transformation doesn't end with just visual impact. In the story, the Kikeroga holds its own against Gates Capa's Hambrabi and Dou Murasame's Psycho Gundam, demonstrating overwhelming firepower and mobility. At the end of episode 7, an impressive scene was depicted where it stops the rampaging Machu (Amate Yuzuriha) and catches the GQuuuuuuX in midair.
