Voice actor Junichi Suwabe has released an audio clip on his official X account of himself singing a parody version of the nursery rhyme "Yuki," which has generated significant buzz primarily among fans.
Suwabe posted the audio with the phrase "Utatte Mita" (I tried singing it). He added a comment saying, "This is material I came up with when I was in elementary school," revealing that now in his 50s, he has finally released to the world a piece he had been holding onto since his boyhood. The released audio is set to the melody of the nursery rhyme "Yuki," and particularly features the lyrics "Neko wa Kotatsu de Mademoiselle" sung resoundingly in Suwabe's signature deep and beautiful voice. Many fans are paying attention to the gap between the universally known nursery rhyme, his dandy vocal quality, and the word sense of "Mademoiselle."
Suwabe is a veteran voice actor who has been active in numerous anime productions. His representative works include the role of Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses, in the anime "Jujutsu Kaisen," and he is known for his overwhelming presence and acting ability. Most recently, it was announced that he will play the role of Ryosuke Shiba, the founder of the Special Mobile Covert Unit for Dealing with Mononoke "Black Torch," in the TV anime "BLACK TORCH" scheduled to air in July 2026, raising even more expectations for his future activities.
In response to this post, many voices have been raised on SNS praising his beautiful voice and enjoying the unique post, such as "What an amazing reward of a great voice...!", "Your singing voice is the best," "Huh?
