Voice actor Nobuhiko Okamoto reposted the official X account of the anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End." He commented on the appearance of characters from the anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" on the cover of the March special edition of the fashion magazine "CanCam," released on January 22nd, sparking widespread discussion.
Okamoto quoted the post from the official anime account and commented, "The cover with these two... is wonderful." Furthermore, regarding the situation depicted in the cover illustration, he speculated about the characters' fashion, wondering "Is it because Frieren looks cold?" or "Or is it a cancellation of the bare-shoulder look?" while writing his impression, "Either way, the existence of this jacket is good."
The released image depicts Frieren (CV: Atsumi Tanezaki) and Himmel (CV: Nobuhiko Okamoto) sitting side by side, dressed in modern casual clothing. Frieren wears a sleeveless black-based dress, but on her shoulders rests what appears to be Himmel's jacket. Himmel is styled in a fashionable outfit combining a shirt, tie, and jacket, creating a visual that leaves an impressive image with both of their calm expressions.
In response to this post, fans shared comments such as "Frieren and Himmel are too wonderful," "The cover is so wonderful, I'm captivated," "The two on the cover are cool and stylish," "The cover is really too good, too wonderful," and "Never expected Himmel and Frieren to grace the cover of CanCam."
