Manga artist Miura Kouji updated his X account, posting a birthday illustration for Taiki Inomata (CV: Shoya Chiba), the main character of "Blue Box," which has been generating buzz.

The published image depicts Taiki sitting cross-legged with a birthday cake on top of his head. The birthday cake is decorated with three lit candles and strawberries, and Taiki is balancing the cake with his right hand while displaying a broad smile with his eyes narrowed. The background features the words "HAPPY BIRTH DAY!" in large, handwritten-style font, creating an overall pop and adorable atmosphere.

"Blue Box" is based on the manga series by Miura Kouji, which is currently serialized to great acclaim in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha). The series has captivated many readers since its serialization began in April 2021, delicately depicting the earnest efforts of relatable characters dedicating themselves to their club activities with their own thoughts in their hearts, as well as the subtle emotions "when someone falls in love." The first season of the anime aired in October 2024, and the second season is scheduled to air in fall 2026.
