The anime "High School! Kimengumi" is based on a gag manga by Motoei Shinzawa that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (published by Shueisha) in 1980. The original work started as "3-nen Kimengumi" and was retitled "High School! Kimengumi" as the characters advanced to higher education. It's a gag anime depicting the unpredictable school life of unique groups such as "Honegumi," "Irootokogumi," "Udegumi," and "Bangumi," centered around Rei Ichidō and the other members of "Kimengumi."

One week after the explosion—no, graduation—from Ichiou Junior High. For some reason, graduates from Ichiou Junior High had gathered at the Ichiou High School they enrolled in. Furthermore, new unique classmates join them, but Rei, who should have enthusiastically woken up early on the first day of school, is nowhere to be found...?

"Battle Without Rules: Classmate Alliance Edition"
Ichirō Shinjitsu somehow manages to invite Yui out on a date! However, it comes with the bonus of Chie and the others, Menichi Nikaidō, and of course the "Kimengumi" also tagging along. At the bowling alley they head to, for some reason the classmates start a bowling match with Yui as the prize!?
