 From the anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End," advance cuts and synopsis for Season 2 Episode 2 (Episode 30 overall) "The Hero of the South" have been released.

 The original work is a manga of the same name currently serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday." Set in a world after the defeat of the Demon King, the story depicts Frieren (CV. Atsumi Tanezaki), a mage who has lived for over a thousand years, embarking on a "journey to understand people" following the death of the hero Himmel (CV. Nobuhiko Okamoto). Season 2 of the anime began broadcasting every Friday at 11:00 PM on Nippon Television Network starting January 16. On ABEMA, it will be streamed for free from midnight on the same day.

【Synopsis】

Frieren and her companions accept a request to polish a hero statue in a village of the Northern Kingdoms. The statue is not of Himmel, but of the "Hero of the South," who was once praised as the strongest of humanity. Frieren recalls the time when she met the "Hero of the South"... Later, in the castle town of Count Daha's domain that they visit, Frieren and her group are asked by the lord to "retrieve a treasured sword from the demons"...
