The anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" is based on the manga of the same name by Gege Akutami, which has surpassed 150 million copies in cumulative circulation. The story begins when Yūji Itadori (CV: Junya Enoki) shares his body with Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses, and enrolls in Tokyo Jujutsu High, a specialized institution for combating curses. The original manga concluded in 2024, and starting in September 2025, a spin-off titled "Jujutsu Kaisen ≡ (Modulo)" with original story by Akutami and artwork by Yuji Iwasaki is being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha).

【Synopsis】
The group begins moving in their respective roles to quell The Culling Game. Among them, Maki heads to the Zenin family to collect cursed tools to strengthen her forces for participating in The Culling Game. Ignoring the abuse from Naoya and even her mother's attempts to stop her, Maki heads to the cursed warehouse. When she opens the door to the warehouse, instead of its now-empty contents, she finds the bloodied figure of Mai and her father, Ogi Zenin——.
