Denji and Reze Through the Window...! Fans Rejoice Over the 8th Theater Bonus for "Chainsaw Man The Movie" with "I Have No Choice But to Go!" and "Yay!!"

The official X account for the anime "Chainsaw Man" has released information about the 8th theater visitor bonus for the currently screening "Chainsaw Man The Movie Reze Arc," creating a major buzz among fans.

The bonus announced this time is a "Denji & Reze Visual Card" featuring an original illustration drawn by the original author, Tatsuki Fujimoto. The card is A5 size and will begin distribution at each screening theater from January 31st. It has been announced that distribution will end as soon as supplies run out due to limited quantities.

The released image features the protagonist Denji (CV: Kikunosuke Toya) and Reze (CV: Reina Ueda), the girl who holds the key to the story. The illustration shows Reze waving her hand from inside the room, and Denji raising his hand in response. Despite the soft color palette, the illustration is filled with emotion that symbolizes the poignancy of the story.

This original illustration was previously released on the official X account on December 31st last year, along with the announcement that the film had surpassed 10 billion yen in domestic box office revenue within 103 days of its release. Fujimoto's message included gratitude to the audience and comments such as "I'm still holding onto it even now!" which prompted fans to flood the comments with remarks like "Even the author himself is suffering from DenReze loss (lol)" and "Suspicion that the author is the one most affected by it (lol)."

"Chainsaw Man" is an anime based on a comic whose Part 2 has been serialized on "Shonen Jump+" since July 13, 2022. The TV series aired from October to December 2022, and the theatrical version "Reze Arc" has been screening since September 19th. It depicts the story of a boy named Denji, who lives as a Devil Hunter with Pochita, the "Chainsaw Devil," to pay off his father's debts, and who is resurrected as "Chainsaw Man" after a certain incident, fighting devils as a member of the Public Safety Devil Extermination Special Division 4. Its dark worldview, unpredictable developments, and attractive characters have garnered enthusiastic support worldwide.
