The New Assistant Homeroom Teacher is… Anime “High School! Kimengumi” Episode 4 Synopsis & Preview Stills Released

The synopsis and preview stills for Episode 4 of the anime “High School! Kimengumi” have been released.

The original manga began serialization in “Weekly Shonen Jump” (published by Shueisha) in 1980 as “3-nen Kimengumi.” It became a massive hit with its innovative concept of changing the title to “High School! Kimengumi” as the characters progressed to high school. Furthermore, a TV anime adaptation aired starting in 1985, sparking a huge nationwide craze.

The series began broadcasting on Fuji TV’s “noitaminA” block and other affiliates on January 9th, airing every Friday at 23:30, with sequential releases on various streaming services starting January 10th.

Synopsis:
“Leap Through Time! The Hot-Blooded Teacher”
The one who arrives as the new assistant homeroom teacher for the overly carefree Class 1-5 is Jidai-sensei, who dreams of being a hot-blooded teacher straight out of the Showa era! While he burns with passion to forge a bond of love between teacher and student like in the old days, the “Kimengumi” continue to be their usual eccentric selves at their own pace, ignoring him completely… lol

“Dai Monohoshi: Do You Have the Guts?”
Wakazo Temekono, the gang leader of Ichio High, is searching for his successor. The key is to find someone with just the right amount of “backbone”—enough to lead, but not so much that Wakazo can’t still boss them around after graduation. He spots Dai and intends to whip him into shape, but instead, Wakazo finds himself being the one played like a fiddle by Dai…?
