[Photos/Images] Fans Rejoice Over "Beautiful Color Usage" as Official "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" Account Releases Support Illustration by Minoru Ogawa 1st

The official X account for "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" has released a support illustration by manga artist Minoru Ogawa, known for works such as "Gareki Machi no Ruu to Meeko," and its beautiful execution has generated significant buzz among fans.

The released image depicts Frieren, the protagonist of the series, and Serie, the founder of the Continental Magic Association and a great mage. While Frieren stands with a calm expression, holding her beloved staff in one hand, Serie sits at her feet in a cross-legged position, displaying a somewhat languid expression, which leaves a striking impression. The two are surrounded by flowers in pale hues of pink, yellow, and blue in full bloom, creating an overall soft and fantastical piece finished in pastel colors.

"Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" is a manga series currently serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday," with the original story by Kanehito Yamada and artwork by Tsukasa Abe. Set in a world "after" the Demon King has been defeated, it depicts the story of Frieren, a mage who has lived for over 1,000 years, embarking on a "journey to understand people." The original manga has won numerous manga awards. The second season of the anime has been airing since January 2026.

In response to this post, fans have been offering words of praise such as "The colors and atmosphere are so beautiful, I felt healed just looking at it," "This single image purifies my heart," "Frieren in Ogawa-sensei's art style is the best," and "The color usage is too beautiful..."
