"All three are just ordinary people..." Morikubo, Okamoto, and Fukunishi receive shocking response from Thai women: "That's the most painful"

On ABEMA, episode #29 of "Say You To Yo Asobi Saturday" was broadcast on Saturday, January 17th at 9 PM. This broadcast was titled "Enjoy Thailand SP!" and featured various Thailand-related segments.

In the first segment, "Surprise Interview with Real Thai People," staff members conducted interviews with Thai employees working at a traditional Thai massage parlor in Tokyo. They showed photos of Showtaro Morikubo, Nobuhiko Okamoto, and Masaya Fukunishi and asked, "Which of these three would be popular in Thailand?" The program presented a quiz to predict the responses of seven Thai people.

Okamoto speculated, "I think Morikubo-san will get the most votes, right?" and predicted Morikubo would get 4 votes, Okamoto 2 votes, and Fukunishi 1 vote. Furthermore, Fukunishi placed Okamoto at the top, and Morikubo placed Fukunishi at the top, resulting in a situation where everyone was supporting each other. Fukunishi laughed, saying, "We're all supporting each other," and Morikubo also praised their teamwork, saying, "We're such well-behaved guys."

However, the correct answer revealed an unexpected truth. Two of the voters answered "none of the above." A female massage parlor employee said with a troubled expression, "None of the three fit the style that would be popular with Thai people." While Okamoto quipped, "Don't try to smooth it over with a smile!", another woman made a frank comment: "All three are just ordinary people..." The three showed wry smiles, saying, "That's the most painful."

The final results were: Morikubo 2 votes, Okamoto 2 votes, Fukunishi 1 vote, and none of the above 2 votes. When Fukunishi analyzed, "Thai people tend to judge based on specs," Okamoto appeared to have a revelation, saying, "So would someone like Takuya Eguchi be good?" Fukunishi agreed, saying, "He wears light makeup and is slender, so he might be popular." Morikubo expressed his ambition, saying, "I'd like to take Eguchi to Thailand for a shoot." Furthermore, Okamoto exposed Eguchi by name, saying, "He was super popular when we went to South America too," prompting a sharp retort from Fukunishi: "He's popular everywhere, isn't he?!"
