The anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" is based on the manga of the same name by Gege Akutami, which has surpassed 150 million copies in cumulative circulation. The story begins when Yūji ends up sharing his body with Ryomen Sukuna, the "King of Curses," and transfers to Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an institution specializing in curses. The original manga concluded in 2024, and starting in September 2025, a spin-off "Jujutsu Kaisen ≡ (Modulo)" with original story by Akutami and artwork by Yuji Iwasaki is being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha).

【Synopsis】
Yaga, who was sentenced to death after the Shibuya Incident. Assassins, and then Gakuganji, appear before him. Meanwhile, Yūji and Megumi, who left the Tomb of the Star, head to the venue of a gambling match to seek cooperation from Kinji Hakari, a suspended third-year student at Jujutsu High. To avoid being recognized as Jujutsu High affiliates by Hakari, who has a bad relationship with the upper echelons, the two hide their identities and infiltrate the gambling match "Gachinko Fight Club Tournament"――.
