The anime "High School! Kimengumi" is based on a gag manga by Motoei Shinzawa that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (published by Shueisha) in 1980. The original work started as "3-nen Kimengumi" and was retitled "High School! Kimengumi" as the characters advanced to higher grades. It's a gag anime depicting the unpredictable school life of unique groups such as "Honegumi," "Irootokogumi," "Udegumi," and "Bangumi," centered around Rei Ichidō and the "Kimengumi."

"Time Leap! Hot-Blooded Teacher"
The new assistant homeroom teacher who arrives for the overly free Class 1-5 is Teacher Jidai, who dreams of being a Showa-era hot-blooded teacher! While he gets fired up trying to aim for the loving relationship between teachers and students of the past, the "Kimengumi" continues to be eccentric at their own pace as always...

"Dai Monohoshi - Do You Have the Guts to Be Buried?"
The nominal high school gang leader Wakazo Temekono is looking for the next gang leader. The important thing is that they have guts but not too much, so he can still show off after graduation. He intends to give Dai, who catches his eye, a stern talking-to, but Wakazo ends up being the one toyed with by Dai...?
