An anime adaptation of the manga "Thunder 3" has been greenlit. Along with the announcement, the teaser visual, teaser PV, and main cast details have been released.
Based on the manga by Yuki Ikeda serialized in Kodansha’s "Monthly Shonen Magazine," this series follows a trio of close-knit middle schoolers on a mission to find a young sister.
The teaser visual depicts the "Small 3" searching for the missing Futaba. Furthermore, the teaser PV captures their "ordinary daily life," showcasing the trio alongside Futaba, who dotes on Pyontaro, even saying, "I’m gonna be big brudder’s bride!"
The teaser PV also unveiled the character voices for the "Small 3" and Pyontaro’s younger sister, Futaba. It was revealed that Sayumi Suzushiro will star as the protagonist Pyontaro, Natsumi Kawaida as Tsubame, Eri Akiyama as Hiroshi, and Honoka Mitsubachi as Futaba.
In addition, comments expressing excitement for the upcoming broadcast have arrived from the original creator, Yuki Ikeda, and the newly announced cast members. The TV anime "Thunder 3" will air on Fuji TV's "+Ultra" programming block and other networks starting this July. Furthermore, the manga will resume serialization in Kodansha’s "Monthly Shonen Magazine" this February, with new chapters released every first Friday of the month.
