The Identity of the Mastermind... Akane Kurokawa Realizes the Possibility: "He’s finally here..." "I got goosebumps" — Oshi No Ko Episode 28

Episode 28 of the anime "Oshi No Ko" aired on February 4th (currently rolling out). After seeing "certain footage," Akane Kurokawa (CV: Manaka Iwami) begins to speculate about the identity of Aqua’s (CV: Takeo Otsuka) true father. The internet was abuzz with excitement, with comments like, "That ending gave me the chills," and "The plot is moving at breakneck speed."

In Episode 28, "Blindness," Akane attends an award ceremony after winning the Newcomer Actor Award at the Japan Movie Awards. During the event, Toshiro Kindaichi (CV: Tomoyuki Shimura) of the "Lalalie" theatrical troupe praises her eyes, remarking, "We used to have someone like that (with the same eyes) in our troupe, too." Intrigued, Akane asks, "Who was it?" Kindaichi explains that the person—who was one of the best character actors of his time—was the very one who sent the "white roses" currently sitting in the lobby. After the ceremony, Akane decides to watch rehearsal footage of that individual. Upon seeing it, she mutters, "They’re so similar."

Since the father of Aqua’s half-brother, Taiki Himekawa (CV: Koki Uchiyama), is already deceased, Aqua believed his quest for revenge against the mastermind behind Ai’s (CV: Rie Takahashi) murder had reached its end. However, after seeing the footage, Akane begins to suspect that the two might actually have different fathers. Not only was the man's acting style similar to Ai's, but the stalker who stabbed Ai also carried white roses. Most importantly, the man in the video—"Hikaru Kamiki"—looked exactly like Aqua...
