Hiro Shimono's Abs Give Out from Miyu Irino's Unpredictable Actions! Testing Their 9-Month Bond on 'Say You To Yo Asobi'

On ABEMA, 'Say You To Yo Asobi Tuesday【Hiro Shimono × Miyu Irino】#30' was broadcast on Tuesday, January 20th at 10 PM. In this broadcast, the Tuesday duo took on the challenge of "Action Prediction Quiz! What Would Your Partner Do?" to test their 9-month bond. What was supposed to be predicting each other's actions and thoughts turned into a series of unpredictable developments, and the studio was filled with laughter throughout.

The challenge conducted this time was "Action Prediction Quiz! What Would Your Partner Do?" which had been done once before at the 3-month mark of the Shimono-Irino duo's formation. Six months had passed since then, and they decided to retry it with the expectation that "surely we should understand our partners by now." Each person moved to a separate room one at a time, and from there predicted what actions their partner would take in response to given prompts. Three questions were presented to each, verifying their level of understanding of their partner.

First came the turn where Shimono predicted Irino's actions. Shimono's voice was converted with a voice changer to sound like "a death game's game master," and he gave instructions to Irino in the other room. For Question 1, "Will Miyu Irino play with a spinning top, a puzzle ring, or a hand spinner?" Shimono analyzed that "Miyu-kun likes things with movement, so it's either the spinning top or hand spinner," and after much deliberation chose "spinning top." However, Irino in the other room picked up the hand spinner without hesitation and immediately started spinning it. Having narrowly missed the two-choice question, Shimono held his head and exclaimed, "Damn it! I knew he liked hand spinners!"

In the following Question 2, "What name will Miyu Irino give to a horse plushie?" Shimono predicted "Shimono," but Irino rapidly answered with his gut instinct: "Umastick Meyer," "Umainbow," and "Tosakaboya." Faced with Irino's explosively unique naming sense, Shimono was devastated, saying "Not even close! So he just answers on instinct." Comments from viewers also flooded in with remarks like "Too unpredictable," "No way anyone could guess that lol," and "His naming sense is way too unique."

Then for Question 3, "Can Miyu Irino complete Radio Taiso Exercise No. 1 to the end?" just as Shimono predicted by answering "He can't!" Irino began to lose his way in the latter half. Watching Irino repeatedly make incomprehensible movements, even Shimono, who had been fully immersed as the death game's game master, hit his funny bone and burst into laughter. After being continuously thrown off by Irino, Shimono collapsed, saying "This death game is a game of whether I live or die" and "I'm going to die, so please come back already!" followed by "No good, I'm sobbing," in a state of complete abdominal muscle collapse. Although his predictions kept missing, he reflected with satisfaction, "Well, that was entertaining."
