The official X account for 'Frieren: Beyond Journey's End' released a scene from the anime's second season on February 5th, creating a major buzz among fans.
The video, posted with the comment "Fuki-gen" (Bad Mood), features a unique caption at the bottom of the screen reading "Tantrum-Throwing Frieren." The footage shows Frieren running around the room in all directions while crying out "Uwooon."
Her tantrum is so intense that even the hero Himmel, the priest Heiter, and the warrior Eisen, who came to check on her, are completely at a loss and can only stand there helplessly. Even the usually calm Himmel, witnessing this tremendous tantrum, involuntarily mutters "Scary," creating a comical yet impactful scene.
In response to this post, fans commented with reactions such as: "I got to see an unexpected side of the usually cool Frieren. This is why I can't stop watching," "It's so rare to see Frieren throw such a tantrum," "Instead of 'Frieren: Beyond Journey's End,' it's 'Frieren: Beyond Bad Mood,'" and "This is way too funny."
The anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" is based on the manga of the same name, currently serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday," with story by Kanehito Yamada and art by Tsukasa Abe. Set in the world "after" the Demon King was defeated, it depicts the story of Frieren, a mage who has lived for over 1,000 years, embarking on a "journey to understand people." The original manga has won numerous manga awards. Furthermore, the first season of the TV anime began airing in 2023 and continues to gain a large number of fans both domestically and internationally.
