Episode #30 of "Say You To Yo Asobi Wednesday" was broadcast on ABEMA on January 21st at 10 PM.
In this broadcast, the regular segment "You're Below Me! Namikawa・Yashiro THE BATTLE" was held, where two voice actors who boast some of the best physical and mental capabilities in the voice acting industry throughout the year take on games using both body and mind. As the battle entered its final stages, Daisuke Namikawa and Taku Yashiro were tied at 22 wins each. In a situation where a single loss could be fatal, they challenged the "Distance Sense Battle," competing through physical distance perception.
The first showdown was the "Ketchup Message Battle," where they had to write the show's name with ketchup on omurice in a well-balanced manner. The time limit was 40 seconds, and the winner would be decided by viewer votes on ABEMA. Taking the ketchup bottles in their hands, both started in confusion, saying, "I have no confidence or anything... I've never written letters with ketchup before." While Yashiro made a big fuss exclaiming "(The ketchup) won't come out!" and "It all came out at once!", Namikawa carefully proceeded with his writing. However, both ultimately ran out of space and time ran out in chaos.
When they checked the completed omurice, Namikawa's work had an exclamation mark at the end, reading "Say You To Yo Asobi!" Yashiro immediately pointed out, "That's a deduction!" To which Namikawa responded in shock, "What? I've thought for 8 whole years that (the show's name) had a '!' at the end... It doesn't have one..." The studio fell silent at this fact discovered in his 8th year as MC. As a result of the voting, Namikawa won with 75% of the support.
The next "Upside-Down Glasses Battle" had rules where participants wore glasses that made their vision upside down and had to pick up coins scattered on the floor within 15 seconds. At Yashiro's bizarre movements desperately chasing coins, Namikawa burst into laughter saying, "That's scary (lol)" and "You're being called 'The Coin-Collecting Yokai.'" Although Yashiro showed great effort collecting 465 yen, Namikawa ended with only 130 yen, confused and muttering "Where am I..." Yashiro dismissed Namikawa's appearance, saying "I wouldn't want to show this to children, or rather, a veteran voice actor was just rubbing the floor," and the match became tied again at 23 wins each.
