[Photos/Images] Even the Subtle Half-Closed Eyes Are Recreated! "Sgt. Frog" × "Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe" Original Parody Drawing - "The Official Account Is Making Us Laugh!" 1st

The official X account for the anime "Sgt. Frog" has sparked major buzz by releasing an original collaboration illustration drawn by creator Mine Yoshizaki to commemorate the huge success of the currently screening film "Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe."

The released image features a composition modeled after the key visual of "Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe." In the foreground, Sergeant Keroro is depicted with a melancholic expression reminiscent of protagonist Hathaway Noa, while in the center stands Private Second Class Tamama with downcast eyes in the style of heroine Gigi Andalucia. Behind them, Corporal Giroro is lined up with a stern expression evoking Kenneth Sleg, and in the upper portion, Sergeant Major Kururu displays a glow like a Mobile Suit behind him. Additionally, the faint figure of Lance Corporal Dororo can be spotted in the ocean background, making this a parody illustration that meticulously recreates the original visual down to the finest details. The catchphrase also reads "We can become the light, sir――," a phrase that pays homage to the original.

"Sgt. Frog" is an SF comedy depicting the daily lives of the frog-like alien Sergeant Keroro and his subordinates on Earth. It is characterized by numerous parody elements including the Gundam series and has been beloved for many years. Furthermore, this collaboration illustration also features the logo for "Sgt. Frog the Movie: The Earth is in Mortal Peril as Soon as We Come Back!," which is set for release in summer 2026 as the latest theatrical work in 16 years.

This post was simultaneously released on the official accounts of both works, and fans from both sides have been flooding the timeline with surprised reactions such as "I thought it was a photoshop but it was official," "Even the subtle half-closed eyes are recreated," and "Sergeant Keroro is in the terrorist position!?," as well as enthusiastic responses like "Show us what you've got, Keroro!" and "The official account is making us laugh!"
