Preview cuts, synopsis, and a trailer for Season 2 Episode 4 (Episode 17 overall) of the anime "Medalist" have been released.

"Medalist" is based on the manga by Tsurumaikada, serialized in Kodansha's "Monthly Afternoon." It tells the story of Inori Yuitsuka (CV. Natsumi Haruse) and Tsukasa Akeuraji (CV. Takeo Ōtsuka), who harbor strong dreams of figure skating and meet as "athlete and coach," aiming for the glorious title of "Medalist." The TV anime's second season is currently airing from January 24, 2026, on TV Asahi's nationwide 24-station network in the "NUMAnimation" slot and other platforms.

Additionally, a YouTube special program "'Medalist' Coaches Assemble! Special Program Delivered While Eating Yakiniku" featuring live appearances by Takeo Ōtsuka and Taito Ban, who plays Shinichirō Sonidori, has been announced for Sunday, February 15. Just like the yakiniku scene that appears in the series, the two will deliver the appeal of this work and new information while eating yakiniku.
