From the anime "Medalist," advance stills, synopsis, and preview video for Season 2 Episode 5 (Episode 18 overall) have been released.
"Medalist" is based on the manga by Tsurumaikada, currently serialized in Kodansha's "Monthly Afternoon." The story follows Inori Yuitsuka (CV. Natsumi Haruse) and Tsukasa Akeuraji (CV. Takeo Ōtsuka), who meet as "athlete and coach" with a strong dream for figure skating, as they aim for the glory of becoming "medalists." Season 2 of the TV anime is currently airing from January 24, 2026, on the TV Asahi network's 24 stations nationwide in the "NUMAnimation" slot and other platforms.

■Episode 18 "Noroshi" (Beacon Fire) Synopsis:
Tsukasa unexpectedly runs into Jun Yodaka at Shinichirō Sonidori's home. Furthermore, he is invited to the skating rink, and becomes flustered by this unexpected situation. However, inspired by the sight of Jun Yodaka skating before his eyes, Tsukasa desperately tries to learn by imitating his jumps.
