[Photos/Images] "It's Strange That He's One of the Purest Saints in the Series" – Volume 2 Cover of 'Jujutsu Kaisen ≡' Revealed, Designs of Dura and Dabra Draw Attention 1st

The official X account of 'Jujutsu Kaisen' has unveiled the cover image of the latest Volume 2 of the near-future spin-off work 'Jujutsu Kaisen ≡ (Modulo)' for the first time, causing a major buzz among fans.

The released image is the cover of Volume 2, which will be released on Wednesday, March 4th. The cover illustration, which bears the names of original creator Gege Akutami and illustrator Yuji Iwasaki, features the Simuria aliens Dura and Dabra. The design is packed with impact, showing Dabra sitting majestically in the center with pale blue skin, three eyes, impressive horns, and wearing ornaments, with the layout of Dura's giant face in the background, characterized by sharp, orange-tinged eyes.

'Jujutsu Kaisen ≡' is a near-future spin-off work set in the year 2086, 68 years after the "Culling Game" from the main story of "Jujutsu Kaisen." It has been serialized since Issue 41 of 2025, with Akutami handling the original story and Yuji Iwasaki in charge of the artwork. The story depicts the battle between extraterrestrial lifeforms called "Simuria aliens" and Japanese jujutsu sorcerers (the Okkotsu Tsurugi and Yuka siblings).

In response to this post, fans have shared reactions such as "The adaptation of the art style is insane lol," "The protagonist's dignity," "It's strange that despite looking like such a villain, he's one of the purest saints in the series," and "Dabra's earlobes are definitely his weak point, right?"
