[Photos/Images] "That's the 'This is pure love' Pose!" - Deformed Jujutsu Kaisen Yuta Okkotsu Mascot Costume Goes Viral as Fans Call It "So Cute" 1st

The official Jujutsu Kaisen anime X account has published an image that has sparked major buzz among fans.

The post was captioned "A snapshot of Yuta-kun." along with hashtags and an uploaded photo.

The released image features a mascot costume of Yuta Okkotsu (CV: Megumi Ogata) with an impressively deformed, chibi-style body proportion. Against a backdrop of warm-colored fabric in red, pink, and orange, Okkotsu stands wearing a white uniform and black pants. He carries what appears to be a black sword bag on his back, extends his right hand forward, and strikes a pose with his fingertips slightly curved. His expression, with large eyes gazing straight ahead, creates an adorable presence.

Jujutsu Kaisen is an anime adaptation based on the manga series by Gege Akutami that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha). It's a dark fantasy depicting battles between "curses" born from negative human emotions and jujutsu sorcerers who exorcise them using jujutsu techniques. Set at Tokyo Jujutsu High, where protagonist Yuji Itadori and others attend, the series has garnered strong support both domestically and internationally for its profound world-building and powerful battle sequences.

In response to this post, fans praised it with comments such as "That's the 'This is pure love' pose!" "Being all tiny like that is so cute," and "Even as a mascot costume, he's too adorable." Meanwhile, fans who know his tremendous strength in the main story also left comments touching on the gap between his lovable appearance and his abilities in the series, such as "It's genuinely scary that something this cute actually killed Itadori once."
