The official X account for "The Dangers in My Heart" has reported that "The Dangers in My Heart: The Movie" has surpassed 100 million yen in box office revenue, while also releasing images featuring the Ichikawa siblings, characters from the series, discussing the film's highlights, sparking much discussion.
The released image is titled "The Ichikawa Siblings Talk!! Theatrical Release Highlights Discussion!" and features four highlights, each accompanied by corresponding animation scene photographs. At the bottom of each panel, comments are presented in a conversational format between the siblings, alongside icons of Kyōtaro Ichikawa and Kana Ichikawa. The content conveys the atmosphere of the work through comical exchanges such as "Kyo-chan when he's troubled is so cute~!" "..........," as well as emotional comments about the live scene like "The masterpiece 'Tsuzuku' that Kyo-chan and I wrote the lyrics for together is playing in the theater... it's the best!!"
The first highlight revealed is the re-editing of the TV anime series from Kyōtaro's perspective, impressively depicting the changing distance and relationship with Anna Yamada. "The Dangers in My Heart" is an anime work based on the popular manga series by Norio Sakurai currently serialized in "Manga Cross" (Akita Shoten). It is a coming-of-age romantic comedy depicting the interactions and romantic developments between two people who supposedly had no connection: Kyōtaro Ichikawa, an introverted boy with chunibyo tendencies, and Anna Yamada, an outgoing and naturally charming beautiful girl. TV anime Season 1 aired in 2023 and Season 2 in 2024, captivating many fans with its delicate psychological portrayals and precious relationships.
