Voice actor Hikaru Midorikawa has shared an off-shot on his X account with voice actor Shohei Komatsu, who appeared as a guest on the Niconico Live streaming program "Gekkan Hikaru Oniisan to Issho♪," wearing handmade "chuunibyou masks," which has become a hot topic.
In the published image, Midorikawa and Komatsu, dressed in chic outfits based in black, are standing side by side wearing matching chuunibyou design masks featuring sharp patterns in blue and gray. Komatsu holds his right hand up in front of his face, while in his left hand he holds a purple square mirror with a signature on it. Midorikawa also strikes a pose covering part of his face with his left hand, creating a photo where the two together express a unique worldview reminiscent of chuunibyou.
In response to this post, numerous fans have sent comments praising the two, such as "The handmade masks match your own outfits so well and look so cool," "You two being full chuunibyou is too perfect!" "Thank you for the stream, it was so much fun!" and "The handmade chuunibyou masks are wonderful."
"Gekkan Hikaru Oniisan to Issho♪" is a talk show on Niconico Live (animelo+) hosted by Midorikawa as MC. Under the concept of "Hikaru Midorikawa doing what he likes the way he likes," it began as a monthly regular broadcast in 2022. The program features content that values interaction with viewers, including segments answering letters from fans, talks with invited guests with whom he has close relationships, and projects delving into Midorikawa's own interests.
