'Kamiina Botan, Yoheru Sugata wa Yuri no Hana' Information Reveal Special Program to Air on February 23rd! Main Cast Including Sayumi Suzushiro Assembles

On ABEMA, an "information reveal special program" titled 'Don't You Like Kamiina Botan? | TV Anime "Kamiina Botan, Yoheru Sugata wa Yuri no Hana" New Information Announcement Special' for the new TV anime 'Kamiina Botan, Yoheru Sugata wa Yuri no Hana' scheduled to air from April 2026, will be exclusively broadcast for free on Monday, February 23rd, 2026 (national holiday) at 9 PM.

This work is an "alcohol × girls' coming-of-age story" based on the manga series by Hey serialized in "Champion Cross" (Akita Shoten). The story depicts Botan, a 20-year-old female college student who moves into a student dormitory upon entering university, and deepens her relationships with fellow dormitory residents through "alcohol" following her encounter with the dormitory manager, Ibuki Tonami.

The work has gained popularity for its portrayal of the dissolving distance between people while intoxicated and the delicate emotional movements between women, and is receiving its long-awaited first anime adaptation in April 2026. The animation production is handled by Studio Soigne, an up-and-coming studio that garnered attention with 'mono', raising further expectations toward the broadcast.

For 'Don't You Like Kamiina Botan? | TV Anime "Kamiina Botan, Yoheru Sugata wa Yuri no Hana" New Information Announcement Special', which has been confirmed for exclusive free broadcast on ABEMA, six main cast members will gather: Sayumi Suzushiro (as Botan), Yoshino Aoyama (as Ibuki Tonami), Minako Kotobuki (as Kanade Gujō), Yurina Amami (as Akane Yusa), Miyu Tomita (as Yaeka Kitamori), and Maki Kawase (as Chang Chin-Lan). They will explain the appeal of the story and characters, as well as take on variety projects related to the work.
