On ABEMA, episode #31 of "Say You To Yo Asobi Saturday" was broadcast on Saturday, February 7th at 9 PM.
This time, for Showtaro Morikubo, who claims to have no hobbies or favorites, they conducted "I Want to Learn Adult Tastes!" to experience sophisticated adult pleasures. The theme was "anko" (sweet red bean paste), a symbol of Japan's sweet culture. With Nishii Anko, president of the Japan Anko Association, as a guest, they introduced the profound world of anko, its surprising health benefits, and exquisite arranged recipes such as "anko × corn dog."
In the studio, President Nishii of the Japan Anko Association appeared. The three raised voices of surprise at the unexpected power of anko, which has "about 1/70th the fat content of chocolate" and "9 times the dietary fiber of burdock root," and can also be expected to improve anemia and sensitivity to cold, as well as provide anti-aging effects. Next, they conducted a taste comparison of all 8 types including tsubuan, koshian, white bean paste, zunda bean paste, matcha bean paste, and sakura bean paste. Nobuhiko Okamoto, known as a major sweet tooth, got excited as he scooped up a heaping spoonful of white bean paste. Morikubo made a retort saying "You're going for it... even though there are so many types..." but after taking one bite, Morikubo himself got very excited, saying "I'm eating sweets but feel no guilt at all! The best!"
Also, after eating the zunda bean paste, Morikubo murmured "It reminds me of my hometown." He nostalgically spoke of childhood memories: "My old man is from Fukushima, and he used to make ohagi with zunda bean paste. The kids would shell the edamame beans." Meanwhile, Okamoto's appetite only accelerated. Seeing him scoop up an even bigger heap of matcha bean paste, Masaya Fukunishi delivered a fierce retort: "That's too much! It's inflating!" However, when Morikubo let slip "I should've taken as much as Nobu is eating..." Fukunishi exposed Okamoto's big eating habits, saying "This guy also ate a bento (before recording)," inducing laughter.
