Fans Rejoice: "I Can't Wait Anymore!" - SPY x FAMILY Volume 17 Special Edition to Include Original Papercraft by Tatsuya Endo

Manga artist Tatsuya Endo has updated his X account. It has been announced that the special edition of the manga SPY x FAMILY Volume 17 (Shueisha, 2,200 yen including tax), set to be released on April 3rd, will come with a luxurious original papercraft designed by Endo himself, and this has become a hot topic.

In his post, Endo revealed that he designed the papercraft himself while receiving support from papercraft artisans. He particularly mentioned that "Bond, who looks like just a box," is cute and his favorite. Secret identity versions of Loid Forger (CV: Takuya Eguchi) and Yor Forger (CV: Saori Hayami), as well as a school uniform version of Anya Forger (CV: Atsumi Tanezaki), are also included, and all characters except Bond Forger (CV: Kenichirō Matsuda) have movable legs that allow them to sit.

The post included a development diagram of Bond, and in the post from Shonen Jump+, which was quoted as the source, you can see the completed image featuring characters in a squared, deformed style, along with recreations of the Forger family's living room and Eden Academy's classroom.

In response to this post, fans have expressed their joy with comments such as "Bond's 'box-like quality' is absolutely perfect," "I can't wait anymore," "Bond's box is too cute, I need to secure at least two copies—one for assembly and one for preservation," and "So cute...! I've already pre-ordered it."

SPY x FAMILY is a spy action comedy that depicts a skilled spy, a girl with psychic abilities who can read minds, and a skilled assassin woman who hide their true identities from each other while forming a makeshift family, struggling through daily troubles. It is serialized on Shonen Jump+ and has been adapted into a TV anime and theatrical anime film, making it a highly popular work enjoyed by a wide range of audiences.
