The TV anime "Classroom of the Elite: Year 2 - 4th Season, First Semester of Second Year" based on the hugely popular light novel series that has surpassed 11.1 million copies in cumulative circulation (including e-books) has been announced to begin broadcasting on Wednesday, April 1st. The first broadcast will be a 90-minute extended special featuring episodes 1 through 4 aired consecutively.

The second PV released alongside this announcement depicts Kiyotaka Ayanokōji and others who have advanced to their second year, as well as assassins from the "White Room" who have infiltrated among the new students, suggesting turbulent developments where the characters' intentions intersect.

Furthermore, information about the theme songs that will color this series has been revealed. The opening theme is "MONSTER," for which Eir Aoi also wrote the lyrics, and the ending theme is "Liar Veil" by ZAQ, who has been a familiar presence throughout the series.

Additionally, it was announced that a talk stage event for this series will be held at the "Kochi Anicre Festival 2026" taking place in Kochi Prefecture on Saturday, April 11th and Sunday, April 12th. Shōya Chiba, who plays Kiyotaka Ayanokōji, and Akari Kitō, who plays Suzune Horikita, are scheduled to appear on stage on Sunday, April 12th.
