Preview images and the synopsis for Episode 55 of the anime series "Jujutsu Kaisen" have been released.
"Jujutsu Kaisen" is based on the manga by Gege Akutami, which was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) and has surpassed a total circulation of 150 million copies (including digital editions). 
The TV anime adaptation began in 2020. In 2021, "Jujutsu Kaisen 0" was released, recording a global box office revenue of 26.5 billion yen. This was followed by the second season of the TV anime, "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" and "Shibuya Incident," in 2023. In 2025, the series continued its momentum with the release of the compilation film "Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death - The Movie" and revival screenings of previous works.
