The anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" is based on the manga of the same name by Gege Akutami, which has surpassed 150 million copies in cumulative circulation. The story begins when Yūji Itadori (CV: Junya Enoki) ends up sharing his body with the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna, and transfers to "Tokyo Jujutsu High," a specialized institution for combating curses. The original manga concluded in 2024, and since September 2025, a spinoff titled "Jujutsu Kaisen ≡ (Modulo)" with original story by Akutami and artwork by Yuji Iwasaki has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha).

Meanwhile, in the present day, Itadori and Fushiguro, who entered Tokyo Colony No. 1, were transported to separate locations. Itadori received information that "Higuruma is in Ikebukuro," while Fushiguro was told "Higuruma is in Shinjuku." Guided to different places, the two each encountered——.
